Krispy Kreme fans are now lining up to get their hands on a returning fall-favorite item. No, it’s not the pumpkin spice doughnut or the pumpkin spice lattes. Now that almost every store has filled their shelves with their pumpkin treats, they’re turning to fall’s other fan-favorite flavor: apple. Now Krispy Kreme has released its own apple treat from its bakery, and it’s here for a limited time only.

Krispy Kreme took to Instagram to make the announcement: “Our handmade Apple Fritters are BACK starting today for a limited time!”

“The absolute best,” said one fan. “DROOLING,” said another. And still another added a GIF of Meg Ryan in the famous “I’ll have what she’s having” scene in “When Harry Met Sally.” Apparently, they’re that good.

The fritters are handmade with apple filling, diced apples, and cinnamon, then “glazed to perfection,” according to Krispy Kreme. They look to be a perfect pairing with the bakery’s new and improved coffee offerings. Last week, customers found more than two dozen new coffee drinks on the menu made with 100-percent responsibly sourced Arabica beans, plus the new option of adding oat milk to the coffee drinks.

Now through Sept. 21, Krispy Kreme is offering $5 off any delivery orders over $15 using the promo code DELIVERY.
