Kyle Richards is getting candid about what has really been going on in her relationship from estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.

After rumors of a separation first plagued the couple last month, Richards has been trying to deal with the matter privately, sharing little details with the public about the pair's unraveling 27-year marriage.

But this week, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, opened up while chatting with fans on Amazon Live on Wednesday, Aug. 30, telling her followers that her separation has "been very hard to do."

"[It's] playing out with so many people having eyes on us and being in the public eye," she explained, per the Daily Mail.

However, the Halloween Kills star insisted that she and Umansky, 53, still have plenty of love for each other, and they are even currently vacationing in Europe together with their children.

"Obviously, we care about each other a lot," Richards stated. "You saw, here we are on vacation together."

Richards and Umansky first tied the knot in 1996. Together they share three daughters: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23 and Portia, 15. The Bravo star also shares 34-year-old daughter Farrah with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.

"That's what I'm going to share with you right now," she told fans during Wednesday's Amazon Live session, noting that the heavy topic is "just too much to deal with right now."

Richards and the real estate broker released a joint statement about their separation to Instagram last month, stating at the time that the claims of a divorce were "untrue" at this point.

"However, yet, we have had a rough year," they insisted. "The most challenging one of our marriage."

"But we both love and respect each other tremendously," they asserted at the time, while stressing that there has been "no wrongdoing on anyone's part."

"Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately," the statement continued, while the duo also urged, "Please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative."
