Laura Ashley and Urban Outfitters Team Up for the Capsule Collection of Your ’90s Dreams

In the ‘90s, Laura Ashley’s dainty, Victorian-inspired florals served as a stark contrast to ubiquitous grunge-inspired leather and flannel, quickly become the brand for ladies who lunched and cool girls (in a slightly ironic way) alike. And since everything ’90s is new again, the British brand is back, celebrating its 65-year anniversary with an Urban Outfitters capsule collection… because what better way to reach 2018 shoppers than at UO?

Though the brand has been around since the ’50s, it saw a revival in the ’80s and ’90s thanks to the rise of thrift store shopping and being worn by British fashion icons like Kate Moss to Princess Diana. To celebrate its history and future, Laura Ashley teamed up with Urban Outfitters on a 14-piece collection that still features plenty of the same feminine, whimsical florals it’s known for, but with a decidedly 2018 twist.

The new collection includes dresses, tops, pants, and a skirt, as well as accessories like a ditsy floral bucket hat ($25), a silky scarf ($19), and a canvas crossbody bag ($29), in reasonable price points from $19 to $89. We’d venture to guess that finding authentic vintage Laura Ashley would be even pricier, so this new line is no doubt the best bang for your buck.

The Laura Ashley & Urban Outfitters collection is available now at select Urban Outfitters stores and online at urbanoutfitters.com just in time for back to school shopping. We’ll meet ya at the mall!
