He recently reprised his role as NYPD detective Elliot Stabler.

Christopher Meloni is opening up about his new label as a 'Zaddy.'

According to Merriam-Webster, a "Zaddy" is someone who "seems to have that certain je ne sais quoi combining looks, confidence, and charm."

The word picked up traction back in 2016 after rapper Ty Dolla Sign released a single titled "Zaddy," and with Meloni garnering so much fan love these days, he's been honored with the title.

During an interview with People, the actor noted that he is enjoying his "second act," referring to his return as NYPD detective Elliot Stabler in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

"It's a gas. It's fun. I don't know, has anyone else been crowned Zaddy? Once it's bestowed upon you, you have to just ride that horse as long as you can," he quipped.

Meloni also opened up about how his wife and kids feel about his sex symbol status, noting, "My wife, she’s lovely, she gets it. Meaning she’s like, 'Eh, whatever.'"

He continued, "My kids, on the other hand, invariably once a month, it’s 'Really? Really?' Their friends will send them a meme that’s come out or whatever."

"But I think secretly in their hearts, they get it. It’s cool because we all have a good goof with it. My children’s friends bust my chops, but it’s all fun. It’s an honor," he explained.

A few weeks ago, Meloni came across a license plate that spelled the word "Zaddie" and jokingly posted it to his Instagram page.

He hilariously captioned the post, "Dude stole my plate. And then spelt it wrong!"

Just last year, the actor needed clarification on the word during a Men's Health Cover Story. "Daddy plus? Daddy platinum?" he asked, adding, "I just thought it was a cutie thing."

"It’s reserved for an older gentleman," he said. "How much am I allowed to taste of this fruit? How much am I allowed to enjoy this?"

Looks like he is finally fully embracing his new title!
