Liberty Grace Farm in Columbia delights crowds with pick-your-own-tulip festival

The 7th annual Tulip Fest at The Gathering Barn at Liberty Grace Farm and Vineyard in Columbia kicked off the spring season with colorful rows of tulips.

Spring and flower lovers were invited to come to the farm and pick to their hearts content.

Tulip-picking began March 13 and continued until March 25 at the colorful venue. However, the farm cut its season short due to the beautiful weather and popularity.

"Due to the beautiful weather and the amount of guests, we won't be making it to Easter," a March 24 farm Facebook post said.

Each season admission is charged per individual, such as $12 per person with tulips $1.50 per stem.

The Gathering Barn at Liberty Grace Farm and Vineyard is located at 1990 Hicks Lane in Columbia.
