Lil' Kim Celebrates Her Memoir Presales 'Surpassing the Bible'

Lil' Kim

Lil' Kim's upcoming memoir is allegedly already a hit with the crowd and it hasn't even hit shelves yet.

The 49-year-old rapper took to social media with claims that The Queen Bee's presale numbers are "surpassing the Bible."

"When we post our presales, we be surpassing the Bible, and that's crazy," Lil' Kim shared during a recent Instagram Live. "And the thing is, it's, like, the Bible. I don't take that lightly. Y'all already know that."

The Grammy winner's book will reportedly reveal "everything that really went on behind-the-scenes of her legendary career, much of it for the very first time publicly."

The Queen Bee was first announced in April of 2021 and was slated to be released later that same year. Though, it wasn't until this past summer that she shared a photo of the drafted manuscript on her social media page, telling fans that the "edits are finally done."

"It’s been a long journey beehive, edits are finally done 🙌," she wrote in a July 2023 upload. "Thank you to my bestie/soulmate @themarcjacobs for doing my forward 🫶❤️."

The memoir's release has since been pushed back until Sept. 23, 2025, a topic she also addressed during her recent Instagram Live session.

"It's some crazy s--- going on behind the scenes," she said. "You have to be really careful when you deal with these book companies because they try to, like, literally take advantage of you."

Her claims about the memoir's presales are unable to be independently confirmed but would be a pretty big deal if true, as the Guinness World Records lists the Bible as the "best selling non-fiction book" of all time, with around 80 million new copies printed each year.

But according to publisher Hatchett Books, her memoir may just be enticing enough to draw the attention of millions of fans, as it describes The Queen Bee as "A true page-turner from start to finish," adding, "The Queen Bee is every bit as fierce, empowering, and badass as the woman at the heart of this story—and firmly cements her legacy as a true feminist icon."
