Just a Grammy-winning superstar fulfilling her civic duty.

Lizzo might be one of the biggest music sensations on the planet right now, but apparently she's still just like us.

This week, the "About Damn Time" singer took her social media followers along as she prepared for jury duty, an experience that millions of American adults can probably relate to.

In the comical new TikTok video shared to her page, Lizzo documents her morning after waking up at the crack of dawn on Monday, March 20, showing her fans what outfit she picked for her day in the courthouse.

"Get ready with me for jury duty," the "Good as Hell" songstress says in the beginning of the clip, while sporting a cozy sherpa hoodie.

"It's 6 in the morning," Lizzo, 34, says in the clip as she runs her shower water, before later appearing in a bathrobe and shower cap to do her morning skincare routine.

"I'm not excited about jury duty," the Grammy-winner admits during the video. "I am actually really stressed about it because I've just heard of people getting like really gruesome, violent cases."

"I have a really sensitive mind and I don't like hearing or seeing that. I will cry," she adds, before smoothly transitioning the video to a new clip with her glam all done as she tries to pick out an outfit.

"Something chill," Lizzo says while showing the camera a black button-up dress.

"It's giving law abiding citizen," she states, while giving a little salute with her hand and adding, "Murica!"

But she quickly appears wearing an entirely different outfit, exclaiming, "Psych, I f--king hated that [outfit]," and this time dons a fitted black long sleeve bodysuit instead.

The top, which she said was an old prototype for her clothing line Yitty, was paired with her line's Black History Month pants, featuring a slit at the ankles and the word "Yitty" stamped across one leg. The "Juice" vocalist also added a pair of Prada sneakers to the 'fit as well.

"Wish me luck!" she ended the clip, which was captioned, "Just fulfilling my [civic] duty."

After she posted the video, fans in the comments were left anxiously waiting to find out how Lizzo's jury duty went, prompting the entertainer to share a follow-up clip.

"I got released from jury duty y'all I wonder why tho," Lizzo wrote on the second post, seemingly adding in a hint of sarcasm.

While some people wondered about the reason for her dismissal, others pointed out that it is not uncommon for celebrities to be released because of their fame.

"Celebrities typically get dismissed because they'll be a 'distraction' to the trial," one person commented.

One fan also wondered if Lizzo gave an excuse or said she was unable to serve on the trial, to which she said "No I didn't!"

"I would pass away if it were my trial and I turned and saw LIZZO in the stands," one person wrote.

"She really is just like us," added another.
