You’ll Never Guess Which Royal Family Member Considers Himself the King of Barbecue

Now that Prince Philip is officially retired, he has plenty of time to indulge in hobbies and catch up on The Crown.

Curiously enough, the knight four times over just might spend his post-consort time perfecting his skills as the barbecue master of the royal family.

Darren McGrady, formerly Queen Elizabeth’s private chef, told PureWow that Philip is the most avid chef of all the royals. “Prince Philip [loves] to cook, and he [is] fantastic at barbecue. When they’re at Balmoral Castle, their home in the 50-thousand-acre space in the Scottish Highlands, they go out to the lodgings and Prince Philip [cooks] dinner. So he’s the chef in the family,” The Royal Chef at Home author said. 

 

Queen Elizabeth owns a McDonald’s, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry are besties and Prince Philip is a master chef? Mind. Blown.
