Local Skate Community In Brazil Dedicate Skatepark To Carlos Ribeiro's Late Father

Skate culture in Brazil is wild. If you know, you know, but pretty much every skater from Brazil seems to possess this special form of power and style that most other skaters across the globe simply don't have.

Carlos Ribeiro undeniably falls under that list, from his precision to his pop, power and seamless style on and off the board. He's a good dude and it's really cool to see his late father being honored by the locals of Novo Hamburgo, Brazil for his commitment to Carlos and the community.

"In memory of @carlosribeiro91’s father for both his investment and commitment into Carlos’ life and to the local skate community, the city of Novo Hamburgo named the skatepark after him," says @totheendsfilm. "We were so stoked to get to be visiting when the city revealed the sign and dedicated the park to him!"

Sometimes it's just the little things, like a sign at a skatepark, that sincerely hit the hardest. Seeing Carlos and his family out there at the skatepark will certainly bring out some emotion.
