It's not Flavortown, but it might be an embassy.

If you've ever wanted to live in restaurateur, author and television personality Guy Fieri's house, he's selling one in Lake Worth, Florida. The waterfront home on a corner lot was recently reduced by $755,000 to a steal at just $7,995,000.

That's more than twice what the host of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" paid for it ($3.9 million) in March 2021. Fieri has added new air conditioners and upgraded the spa and pool with new tile, a pool heater and exterior speakers.

The spiky-haired, bleach-blonde celebrity chef and multiple food show host isn't leaving Palm Beach County, though.  In June 2023, he bought a waterfront home on Riviera Beach's Singer Island for $7.3 million.

What's Guy Fieri's Palm Beach house like?

According to Zillow, the two-story block and stucco house at 10 Bella Vista Ave., Lake Worth, is just under 6,000 square feet on a 0.29 acre lot with six beds and five full baths. It sits on a corner with 210 feet of direct waterfront intracoastal frontage. The Fieri home features an outdoor kitchen, an elevator, a pool with spa, a boat lift and a private dock that can accommodate a yacht.

Annual HOA fees are $3,000. Tampa-area Realtor Charlie Bodine of the Real Estate Firm of Florida is representing Fieri in the sale.

"It's a very unique little enclave on a wonderful stretch of water," Bodine said in an interview earlier this year. "It's very hard to find 210 linear feet of dock and seawall on a property."

The house was originally listed in September for $8.75 million, then reduced to $8.5 million in October and the current price of $7.99 million in March, according to multiple listing service records.

Who is Guy Fieri?

Guy Ramsey Ferry, 56, may have been born in Columbus, Ohio but he grew up to be the self-proclaimed Mayor of Flavortown in his seemingly endless appearances on the Food Network.

Fieri, who later changed his name to the original family spelling, began selling pretzels from a cart when he was 10 years old until he could spend a year studying in France at 16. After earning a degree in hospitality management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas he worked in multiple restaurants and opened his own with partner Steve Gruber in 1996. Fieri and Gruber had opened four restaurants — three Italian "Johnny Garlic's" eateries and "Tex Wasabi's" — when friends convinced Fieri to try out for the Food Network's reality show "The Next Food Network Star."

The chef who said he likes to  "live big, laugh hard, and cook wild" in his audition video, according to Biography.com, won in 2006 and did, in fact, become the network's next star, starring in six shows for the network, including "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" and "Guy's Grocery Games" and multiple shows and TV appearances elsewhere.

Fieri has published several best-selling books, and he continues to open restaurants. "I have about 90 restaurants right now," Fieri told Variety in 2022. "Plus the shows, two boys, 500 goats, a bunch of cars, a bunch of projects, a bunch of hobbies."

How do you pronounce 'Fieri'?

Guy pronounces his family name the Italian way, "fee-ET-tee" or possibly "fee-ED-dee."

Does Guy Fieri like Florida?

“Even a cloudy day in Florida is an awesome day,” Fieri said at the opening of the Chicken Guy! location in Winter Park. “I will be in Florida way more than you know.”

Over the years Fieri has filmed at multiple Sunshine State restaurants for his shows. As of 2023, more than 80 Florida restaurants have been featured on Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives."

Four of Fieri's 18 "Chicken Guy" chicken tender restaurant locations are in Florida: Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, Miami, Wesley Chapel and Winter Park. Fieri also runs Flavortown Kitchen, a delivery-only restaurant that's available in Florida, and even on cruises you can find his food. Guy's Burger Joint and Guy's Pig & Anchor are available on various Carnival Cruise liners, which sail out of Jacksonville, Miami, Port Canaveral and Tampa.

The rock-n-roll foodie regularly makes appearances around the state. According to past TCPalm reports, the celebrity cook is a regular at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, which takes place at the beginning every year.

In 2022, Fieri made a $20,000 donation from his Guy Fieri Foundation to Lake Worth Community High School’s culinary program.
