The good news for the makers of Barbie keep rolling in as Variety reported yesterday that Margot Robbie, the star and producer of Barbie, is expected to make roughly $50 million in salary and box office bonuses from the hit film.

Barbie is now Warner Bros. second highest-grossing release, falling just behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, which grossed $1.3 billion globally. Barbie is currently closing in on $1.2 billion, and the success doesn't seem to be slowing down.

Robbie is not the only one anticipated to reap the rewards as director, co-writer and executive producer of Barbie, Greta Gerwig, is also expected to receive bonuses due to the film's success.

Barbie hit theaters July 21 and is still bringing in audiences around the world almost a month later. What's next on its journey to world domination? Can it kick Harry Potter and the  Deathly Hallows - Part 2 out of Warner Bros.'s top spot? Only time will tell.
