Mariska Hargitay and Jane Fonda were nothing short of stunning during a recent red carpet event.

The two were present at the 2023 Women's Media Awards, presented by the Women's Media Center at The Whitby Hotel in New York City on Oct. 19, where they grasped hands as they smiled for the cameras together.

Hargitay wore a gray dress with a long black jacket draped over her shoulders, which featured a distressed vibe thanks to the lattice-style pattern. Her hair was gently curled and fell down to just below her shoulders, framing her face, which was made up with a soft and subtle glam. For accessories, she wore a stack of gold and silver bracelets.

She posed in front of the step and repeat with Fonda, one of the organization's co-founders. The 80 For Brady star wore a fabulously embellished overcoat bedazzled with gold beads, sequins, and more to create a variety of patterns. Her wavy hair fell to just above her shoulders and she went with a slightly bolder glam featuring thick eyeliner and red lipstick.

In a profile published on Wolf Entertainment, WMC president and CEO Julie Burton explained that the award ceremony honors “women who set the standard for what media should look like when it gives voice to the female half of the country.” Honorees are “role models, history-makers, and insuring leaders.”

Hargitay was honored with the WMC Sisterhood is Powerful Award, "in celebration of her commitment to uplifting women in media."

Fonda, Robin Morgan, and Gloria Steinem created the WMC with the mission to "make diverse women visible and powerful in the media," according to their mission statement. The programs they run work to address unequal and misrepresentation of women in media and hold the media accountable for sexist or racist coverage.
