"I would like to see the baby,"–every Disneyland Park guest this fall.

From a galaxy far, far away comes The Mandalorian and Grogu (Baby Yoda)–and they're headed to greet fans at Disneyland this fall

Disney previously teased the possible mission back in May but waited to formally announce the news at its 2022 D23 Expo this past weekend.

"Since opening Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in 2019, Star Wars storytelling has expanded to include more new characters and tales from that galaxy far, far away. At Disneyland Resort, some of those new stories were incorporated in the land earlier this year with legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand," Disney reps shared in a recent press release

The official statement also revealed that The Mandalorian and Grogu are set to make their first appearance on Planet Batuu at Disneyland Park sometime in mid-November. When, exactly, is still to be determined.

In the weeks leading up to the characters' expedition to California, Disneyland Resort also announced it would host the return of its annual fall celebration, "Halloween Time," which transforms the park with seasonal decor, treats, festive experiences, redecorated attractions, and so much more.

Unfortunately, guests loyal to Walt Disney World in Orlando will have to wait until Disney announces whether or not they can expect a meet-and-greet with the two characters.

That said, "Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party" and Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Party have both taken the Floridian park by storm–so no matter where you're headed, magic awaits! Check out our 2022 guide to Halloween events at Disney Parks for more information.

Other highlights from recent Star Wars collaborations with Disney Parks include the new Star Wars experience setting sail this summer, Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge aboard Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish–also home to the infamous $5,000 cocktail; and, of course, the recently launched immersive adventure at Walt Disney World Resort, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser
