We have to give it up for how amazing Megan Thee Stallion looked on the pink carpet for the MTV VMAs. She hit the scene bodied down in a strapless mesh gown and slicked-back hair, but the devil was in the details and for Thee Stallion, those details were her nails. We couldn't miss her lipstick-shaped nails; those claws had an iconic surprise.

The rapper's go-to nail artist Coca Michelle, secured a moment for the photographers on the carpet by encapsulating snake-print fabric within her nails. On her now expired IG stories, Michelle disclosed that the inpso for the look came from Rihanna's Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Heat Universal Lip Luminizer Plumper in "Lemon Lava" for the gold flecks spotted throughout the manicure. In another now-expired story, Michelle also posted the exact snake-skin fabric she used for the almost real-life effect of snake scales.
