Milwaukee Art Museum launches 'pay-what-you-wish' admission on summer Thursday nights

Through the end of August, Thursday nights will be pay-what-you-wish admission at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

The new Thursday Nights at MAM will feature live music and a bar in Windhover Hall from 4-8 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 29 (except for July 4), MAM said in a press statement.

MAM also promises cafe specials on Thursday nights.

During these events, visitors can roam through the galleries to view the permanent collection and special exhibits, including "Idris Khan: Repeat After Me" (through Aug. 11) and "Arresting Beauty: Julia Margaret Cameron" (through July 28).

The Milwaukee Art Museum is at 700 N. Art Museum Drive. Info: mam.org.
