Mother’s Day Market
Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MoMac Brewing Co., 3228 Academy Avenue
Celebrate moms with a day of shopping, sweets and mimosas. The market will have more than 20 vendors to check out and shop local.
Wall Street Mural Festival
Saturday, May 11 from noon to 7 p.m. at 400 Hatton St.
The inaugural Wall Street Mural Festival is presented by Support Portsmouth Public Art (SPPA). The event celebrates the artists and subcultures that have made street art what it is today, according to the event. Watch as muralists paint 10 walls in the alleyway on Portsmouth’s “Wall Street.” The winner will be awarded a grand prize. Spectators can also vote for their favorite in the “People’s Choice” award.
There will be a marketplace with works from local artists, creators, makers and vendors. Food trucks and beverages for all ages will be onsite. The event is free and open to the public.
Norfolk
Step Up for The Up Center
Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at Harbor Park, 150 Park Ave.
This weekend, join Step Up for The Up Center to support the local non-profit. The stairclimbing event will be in Harbor Park Stadium for those that wish to walk, jog or run in the lower concourse. Register and sign up at the link here.
Warehouse Music Series: Cigarettes for Breakfast
Saturday, May 11 at 6 p.m. at Smartmouth Beer, 1309 Raleigh Ave.
The music series continues with the first Warehouse Live Show of 2024 this Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and will be available in-person at the door. All ages are welcome.
Mother’s Day Brunch at COVA
Sunday, May 12 from 10 a.m. at COVA Brewing Company, 9529 Shore Dr.
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a brunch at COVA with Moon Tide Sundries from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can also make a custom bouquet from 9 a.m. to noon. Enjoy coffee and beer brews, food and fun.

Sunday, May 12 from 2-6 p.m. at Maker’s Craft Brewery, 735 E 23rd St.

Mother’s Day Brunch
Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Back Bay Farmhouse, 1805 Kempsville Rd.
The Farmhouse is hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch event. There will be wine specials, brunch foods at food trucks, and a vendor market. There will be special mimosa flights and more.
