Make Music Day at Chaplin Public Library

CHAPLIN — The Chaplin Public Library will rattle the community on Make Music Day.

A special concert will be held in town Saturday.

The annual Make Music Day is now a global initiative that was established in France in 1982. Communities in more than 120 countries now celebrate the day on this date every June.

In Chaplin, the event will be hosted by the library from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Rattlin’ Bog Boys will play children’s songs for the whole family. The Rattlin’ Bog Boys consist of musicians, and best friends, Caleb Cooper and Mike Laber.

Refreshments will be provided at the free event.

If the weather is fine, the concert will be held under a tent on the grounds of the Chaplin Public Library, and attendees are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. If rainy, the concert will be held inside the library.

The library is located at 130 Chaplin Street.
