National Doughnut Day deals in metro Phoenix: How to get free Krispy Kreme, Dunkin' and more

National Doughnut Day is almost here and shops around metro Phoenix are offering special deals to help you celebrate and enjoy the sweet treats. From Dunkin’ and Krispy Creme to BoSa Donuts, you can snag a free or discounted doughnut on and around Friday, June 7.

Dunkin’ has even partnered with Scrub Daddy for the occasion to create sponges in the shape of the dessert. The limited-edition cleaning supplies will be sold in the company’s signature colors, with the Daddy Sponge in orange and the Scrub Mommy in pink and white. An order includes one of each sponge for $9.98.

Meanwhile, Krispy Kreme plans to continue being the ultimate “doughnut lover destination.”

“Krispy Kreme fans look forward to National Doughnut Day every year, and this year they can get their favorite for free,” Dave Skena, global chief brand officer said in a statement. “It’s a sweet day all around.”

When is National Donut Day?

National Donut Day (or Doughnut Day) falls on the first Friday of June. That's June 7 this year.

Free Krispy Kreme on National Doughnut Day

Head over to your nearest Krispy Kreme to pick out your favorite doughnut in person on June 7. No purchase necessary.

Special, or “limited edition” doughnuts are not part of the promotion, according to Krispy Kreme.

Krispy Kreme also is offering customers a chance to get a $2 original glazed dozen with the purchase of any dozen in stores or the drive-thru at participating Krispy Kreme locations.

Dunkin' National Doughnut Day deals

Dunkin' has said that they will have another announcement on Thursday, June 6 for National Donut Day, so stay tuned.

The National Donut Day deals in the metro Phoenix area don't just stop there. Here are other special offers:

  • BoSa Donuts AZ will have a grand opening and National Donut Day deals at their new Scottsdale location, 10427 E. McDowell Mountain Ranch Road. You can get a free donut or hot coffee from June 7-30. From June 7-9 get a free breakfast sandwich from 7-10 a.m. or a free lunch sandwich from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

  • Dutch Bros. Coffee is celebrating National Donut Day on June 7 with a specialty drink, the Jelly Donut Shake.

  • At Duck Donuts you can get a free cinnamon sugar donut on Friday, June 7. No purchase is necessary, but the deal is for in-store orders only.

  • On National Donut Day, Friday, Jun 7, LaMar's Donuts and Coffee will be giving a complimentary Ray's Original Glazed Donut to every store visitor.
