May 30—Featuring something for everyone, Odessa College's summer camps are returning this year starting June 3.

ARCHERY — Have fun learning the basics of archery so you can hit the bull's-eye every time. Ages 8 — 12 yrs
ASTRONOMY — From learning about constellations, planets and the night sky, to the life cycle of a star, campers will have a hands-on experience, complete with field trip to The Museum of the Southwest Planetarium. Ages 8 — 12 yrs
BUGS AND BLOOMS NATURE CAMP — Campers discover cool and different ways to plant seeds, visit gardens, go on nature walks, and journal about what they find! There will also be a field trip to the Sibley Nature Center. Ages 7 — 10 yrs
BULLET JOURNALING — Reach your personal goals, learn mindfulness techniques, and stay organized via Bullet Journaling! Come learn how to create and customize your own journal using a variety of techniques, to help you organize your daily life. Ages 9 — 12 yrs and 13 — 16 yrs
CHESS — Chess is a game of strategy and tactics. Learn the basic rules and principles of the unique game in this beginner level camp. Ages 8 — 12 yrs
CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH — Learn how to engage in conversational Spanish through music, storytelling, and arts and crafts such as piñatas, maracas, sombreros and floresitas! Ages 7 — 12yrs
FAB ACADEMY — With the guidance of our OC Fab Lab staff and using technology/equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters and textile machines, come get hands on in learning digital design, fabrication, and assembly of STEAM-related projects you get to showcase and then take home. Ages 10 — 12 yrs
GOLF — Campers will learn how to putt and chip and use a full swing to send the ball flying. Ages 6 yrs and up
SCIENCE OF ASTRONOMY — Diving into the science and math of astronomy, geography of the moon, and learning about optical astronomy and how it's used to study the universe. Each camper will build their own rover to take home. Ages 12 — 16 yrs
SCRAPBOOKING — Campers will learn how to create a scrapbook that reflects their style, utilizes a variety of materials and techniques, and preserves their keepsakes for years to come. Session 1 is for kids age 9 to 12 and session 2 is for kids age 13-16.
SNACK ATTACK — Get ready for some good (and good for you) snacks this summer as our OC Culinary students use fresh ingredients to create fun, and snacks kids can make at home (with parental supervision). Ages 9 — 14 yrs
TENNIS — Campers will hit the courts to learn basic skills such as forehand and backhand swings, and overall game rules, while playing a variety of skills games to keep them active and having fun. Tennis rackets are provided. Ages 5 — 11 yrs
VIRTUAL REALITY — Learn how to create your own virtual reality space AND 3D objects. Campers will learn to use digital and fabrication applications and make their own DIY Virtual Viewer in the Permian Basin Fab Lab in at Odessa College.
ZOMBIE PREPAREDNESS TRAINING — Come learn how to survive the Zombie Apocalypse with safety visits to and from local first responders, learning to use maps and compasses to successfully complete a campus-wide scavenger hunt, and building your own first aid kit to keep you and your family safe! And when all else fails, you'll learn how to blend in as we paint our faces and learn how to walk like a zombie. Ages 8 — 12 yrs
