Even though there are so many different styles of jeans out there, sometimes they can just feel a little boring. You might have too many light-wash jeans or too many dark-wash ones. Sometimes it’s fun to spice things up—even with jeans—by getting a design or color that is a bit unique or different. Old Navy’s newer extra high-waisted wide-leg jeans fall into this “fun jeans” category with their wash style. And it’s a similar style to a trendy Abercrombie & Fitch pair of jeans that are almost three times the price.

Old Navy’s Extra High-Waisted Wide-Leg Jeans are currently on sale for $43.99 (they’re usually $54.99) and feature a striking two-tone wash style. It’s a nice, wide-leg design with an extra high waist that is “1 inch higher than standard high-rise” styles, sitting above the belly button. They aren’t too long, stopping right around the ankles for that nice wide-leg look.

As we already mentioned, the part that makes these jeans stand out is the two-toned aspect. The middle, front of the pants—between the middle of each thigh—is a lighter wash of jeans, and the outer parts are a darker wash that goes to the back. These only come in that two-tone wash (Washed Blue) and in sizes 00 through 30 (in regular, tall and petite fits). The fabric makeup is 83% cotton, 11% recycled polyester and 5% recycled cotton.

While these are fairly new and only have four ratings, they’re four 5-star ratings, which is promising. The one available review calls these jeans “good quality.”

"Fits well, good quality, priced [reasonably],” they finished.

These jeans also look similar to Abercrombie & Fitch’s Curve Love Ultra High Rise 90s Straight Jean, as we mentioned before. It’s currently $110 and the “Light” wash of the jeans has this two-toned style. This particular listing has several other washes, but the light wash has seams down the middle of each thigh (like Old Navy’s) with a slightly lighter wash on the outer panels. They also have an “ultra high rise” fit, as the name suggests, and are fitted on top as it goes straight through to the ankle. They’re not wide-leg jeans, but the straight-leg design isn’t far off. These are also made with 99% cotton and 1% elastane.

So, if you're looking for a more affordable (especially if they’re on sale) pair of high-waisted jeans with fun two-tone paneling, Old Navy's Extra High-Waisted Wide-Leg Jeans might be just right for you.
