Patient Dog Waits for Guests to Finish Singing 'Happy Birthday' Before Eating His Cake

What a polite boy he is!

These days, we'll take any reason to celebrate. From milestones at work to birthdays like this one, there's no bad reason to get together and eat cake. And we have a feeling that the birthday boy-- a Golden Retriever who goes by @carlosthecream -- would agree!

This precious pup was so excited to tear into his birthday cake, but he was polite enough to wait until his guests had finished singing to him first. Just wait until you see what happens when the song is over, though!

We're not surprised at all to see him rip into his cake like that! If anything, we're glad it split into pieces so he doesn't bite off more than he can chew. Still, watching him with the whole cake in his mouth was just priceless!

"He looks so proud," wrote commenter @bunbunmom13. "Happy Birthday big boy." He has to be in heaven with all of his loved ones around him--so of course he's so proud! Besides, we're sure all of his friends and family are proud of him, too.

We got a serious laugh out of @doreensanuki's comment: "not Carlos looking around to make sure everyone is singing." LOL, he totally is scanning the crowd! If there's a slacker in the room, this eagle-eyed boy will be sure to catch them. Not before scarfing down his birthday cake, of course!

"He was like, 'ain't nobody getting any of this...'" @klaseekim960 wrote. That's probably exactly what was running through his head! Either way, he doesn't need to worry. Carlos is probably the only one who would eat this doggie cake off of the floor, anyway!
