Find out who will be performing at the 2023 Highland Jazz and Blues Festival in Shreveport
The 19th annual Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is just around the corner, and the official poster and music lineup has been revealed.
During last year's "Clash of the Artists" competition, local artist Alex Richardson won, and his creation is now the official poster for the 2023 festival. This free annual event features local and national jazz and blues artists, food and local artwork in the historic Columbia Park in Shreveport.
This year's lineup will include performances by J and the Causeways, Zach Edwards and the Medicine, Co-Op Mode, Twang Darly and more. One notable performance that will kick off the festival is local favorite, Grammy-nominated vocalist and guitarist Buddy Flett.
There will be more performances by locals, like the Shreveport Regional Jazz Ensemble and the Creswell Elementary Blazin' Beatz Bucket Drum Team.
The Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is a free event that will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Columbia Park on Saturday, September 17.
