The actress, whose character was the focus of Season 1, shared what's in Daphne Bridgerton's future.

Netflix's hit period romance series Bridgerton begins with the eldest daughter of the titular Bridgerton family, Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor, attempting to navigate the world of romance and courting, leading to some interesting situations.

Dynevor returned as a supporting character in Season 2, and now, the actress has revealed whether or not Daphne will appear in the upcoming third season of the fan-favorite Netflix series.

While speaking with Screen Rant at the Sundance Film Festival, Dynevor was asked, "Are there any exciting dynamics coming up for Daphne in Bridgerton Season 3?"

The actress shared the news that, unfortunately, she will not be back for Season 3, but that doesn't necessarily mean that this is the last fans will see of Daphne, replying, "Sadly not in Season 3. Potentially in the future. But Season 3, I'm just excited to watch as a viewer."

In Season 1, Daphne teamed up with Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, played by Regé-Jean Page, in order to make herself seem more desirable to eligible men, with the two eventually falling madly in love.

Basset did not appear in Season 2, and just as it does in original book series, the story in the second season shifted focus to a different Bridgerton sibling, Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), the eldest sibling and the heir.

Bridgerton Season 3, which doesn't have a release date yet, will focus on the blossoming romance between Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan).

As the story will continue to focus on members of the Bridgerton family as the seasons go on, it's entirely possible that Daphne will appear again in Season 4 or later.

Aside from Dynevor, almost all of the main cast is returning for Season 3. There is also a recasting, with Hannah Dodd replacing Ruby Stokes as Francesca Bridgerton.

Stokes had to leave Bridgerton due to scheduling conflicts with another Netflix series she booked, Lockwood & Co., which just premiered its first season on Jan. 27.
