Popular Southern California diner adds alcohol to its menu

A popular eatery is adding alcohol to the menu at two of its Southern California locations with plans to expand the service in the future.

Norms Restaurants, with 23 locations in the Southland, now offers alcohol service at its Ontario and Rialto locations, according to its website.

The new beverage menu will include beer, wine, mimosas and micheladas.

The diner-style restaurant stopped selling alcohol when the chain was sold by founder Norm Roybark in 2015 to an investment firm, the Daily Bulletin reported.

Norms plans to expand the beer and wine service to its diners throughout Southern California over the next year and is working on opening a Las Vegas location, according to the report.
