"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," reads a Tweet from Kensington Palace.

"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."

Harry's father, Prince Charles and his stepmother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall are "delighted" by the news, as are the Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

This will be Prince Charles's fourth grandchild. As any royal fan knows, Prince Harry's brother William has three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and little Prince Louis.

Members of the royal family reportedly congratulated Harry and Meghan on their happy news at Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday.

As Camilla did not attend the ceremony due to a previously planned engagement, it's unclear if she has had the chance to congratulate Harry and Meghan in person yet.

Meghan Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, also shared a sweet statement through Kensington Palace about her daughter and son-in-law's announcement, saying she is "very happy at this lovely news and is looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild."

According to Daily News royal correspondent Rebecca English, the Palace "declined to comment on whether her father, Thomas Markle, had been told."
