Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have been together a long time, since 1947 to be exact. The royal couple has been attached at the hip for a lifetime and their love has proven to stand the test of time. And luckily for hopeless romantics, their love story is something right out of a fairytale. They met when they were still kids, Elizabeth was only 8 and Prince Philip was 13. They had always been smitten for each other, writing letters back and forth for years before eventually taking things to the next level. The duo got engaged in 1946 when Elizabeth was 21 and Philip was 26. They got married at Westminster Abbey five months after their engagement announcement. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip had four children Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward. If maintaining a marriage for over 70 years in the public eye isn't relationship goals, I don't know what is!
