Reese Witherspoon is taking full advantage of the last long days of summer sun by enjoying a beach vacay with her family.
Though the exact location of the trip was undisclosed, the Legally Blonde actress spent time water-side with her sons reading, relaxing and eating frozen treats.
Witherspoon, 46, took to Instagram to share a slideshow gallery of photos from the excursion along with the sweet and simple caption: "Summer pic buffet 💘☀️🌊."
Two of the star's three kids, Deacon (18) and Tennessee (9), appeared to be having a blast in the pictures; with one snap showing her youngest attempting to catch a football mid-air as it flew over the ocean.
Another image showed the young boy posing toes in the sand, visibly excited to be holding up a giant starfish.

Wildlife wasn't the only thing they enjoyed on the trip, as additional images suggested beach cycling, boat rides, and sweet treats (like shaved ice and oversized chocolate-vanilla swirl ice cream cones) were also high on their agenda. Aside from frozen desserts, Reese also indulged in the latest read from her book club, Honey & Spice by Bolu Babalola.
In another photo, the Hot Pursuit actress and her son appeared to be twinning as they smiled in matching black caps worn backwards.
The brotherly love was also apparent, as big bro Deacon—who's set to follow in his parents' footsteps with his upcoming acting debut—threw little bro over his shoulder for another candid moment-to-remember.
The established actress and dedicated mother currently stars in Apple TV+'s The Morning Show, which is said to air its third season this fall. Witherspoon also recently celebrated Legally Blonde's 21st anniversary by posting a nostalgic Instagram montage. There is a confirmed third installment of the film in the works.
