Riley Keough just got a chunky bangs haircut and it’s so Daisy Jones

Riley Keough just took inspo from her iconic role of Daisy Jones, the Steve Nicks-esque singer in Daisy Jones and The Six, and has cut in the cutest chunky bangs hairstyle. Or maybe more... chonky. And boy, she looks so different. The actress debuted the hairstyle on her Instagram, bidding farewell to the long face-framing layers we’ve used to seeing her with.

The thick new full fringe falls just shy of her brows, but skirts past the micro-fringe domain, and is parted slightly in the middle . It’s sort of like a very dense curtain bang but with less separation and more thickness.

Where her prior centre parted long layers accentuated the elegance of her long face and elongated bone structure, this new fringe rounds off her face making her look seriously cute, highlighting her heart-shaped jawline. And as mentioned, it’s not dissimilar to the fringed looks we saw her with while starring in Daisy Jones and the Six. It’s crazy how different she looks with each, but safe to say she looks bloody gorgeous with both.

The cut was done by celeb hair stylist Mark Townsend and debuted at a panel talk during the press build-up for Riley’s new show Under The Bridge on Hulu – you best believe we will be watching. Meanwhile, her subtle dusk rose glam was the work of MUA Mai Quynh, who really delivered on that broad blush placement.

10/10 all round.
