Unofficially summer is here and come Saturday, we are in the summer months.

With the summer feels hitting everyone, Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is announcing a new summer flavor to its lineup and continuing a fundraising tradition.

What's the new flavor at Rita's Italian Ice?

Rita's is introducing Kool-Aid Tropical Punch to its summer menu. The new item was launched Monday, May 27.

The Tropical Punch Ice will also be featured in a 5-Layer Gelati, which combines Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Ice with layers of creamy vanilla custard and is topped with rainbow sprinkles for an extra burst of color and flavor.

For those seeking a sippable treat, the Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Ice Blender drink offers a refreshing way to beat the heat. The Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Ice can also be enjoyed across Rita's menu of signature treats.

In addition, Rita's app users can receive double points on their loyalty account with every eligible 5-Layer Gelati purchase.

Rita's Italian Ice partnering with Alex's Lemonade Stand

Rita's is continuing its long partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization with a mission to change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

Until July 7, Rita's will donate $1 from every frozen lemonade sold to ALSF, up to $10,000. Customers are also encouraged to contribute $1 at their local Rita's and add their name to the Rita's Wall of Hope. Donations can also be made online at www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/3683085.
