"Rock Slide!"- Skier Holds On As Slope Releases

Swedish freestyle skier David Kantermo is both a skier and dad, often collaborating with his son Casper to make edits of them enjoying the mountains as a family.

What David posted a few days ago, however, was a little less heartwarming and a little more anxiety inducing. Kantermo posted a video of him enjoying the glades, only to slip down a less-than-ideally-covered slope and mess with any recent tune he had on those skis.

Watch below.

David skids down the drop, hooting the whole time, skis scratching down the bare surface of the mountain. It sounds like damage.

David even acknowledged the results with a joke, writing, "@areskidsport I'm coming your way 🤣 The right edge on both of my skis needs some love @monkansbilder are you still on the Grov lös program?"

Sweden has some of the best skiing in Europe, with resorts such as Are, Salen, and Vemdalen. And that's not even counting all of the pristine backcountry routes.

Lake Tahoe's own Connery Lundin commented on another one of David's IG posts, writing "Very clearly winning early season."

He's right. Now we're just praying David gets those edges cleaned up asap. Then again, he probably has more pairs of skis than I have pairs of pants in my closet.
