There's no shortage of fashionable royals in the world. From Britain's cavalcade of stylish ladies like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle to the ever on-point Spanish Queen Leitizia to Monaco's avant-garde Princess Charlene, the women of the royal families are proven tastemakers. Lately, another group has been garnering international attention as well, as several milestone events have put all eye on the royal family of Jordan.
Of course, Queen Rania has long been known for her seamlessly sophisticated taste, but after the weddings of both her daughter, Princess Iman, and her son, Crown Prince Hussein, some of the other royal women have been snagging the spotlight as well for their impeccable taste. And since we could all use a little extra royal style in our wardrobe, we're taking a look at some of the fashion staples the royal family of Jordan turns to over and over again from the brands they can't get enough of to the pieces they've been wearing for years.
Gianvito Rossi
Shop Now Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps in Gold, $845
Queen Rania is a longtime fan of Gianvito Rossi pumps, and is often seen wearing the Giantvito 105 style out on public occasions. For a dinner at Buckingham Palace ahead of the coronation of King Charles III, she opted for a gleaming metallic gold pair.
She's not the only royal lady who loves the style either—the look is also a favorite of Kate Middleton's.
Bottega Veneta
Shop Now Bottega Veneta Knot clutch, $3,800
Bottega Veneta's signature Knot clutches are a Jordanian royal family favorite. Princess Rajwa carried a gold version to the wedding of her now-sister-in-law Princess Iman, and Iman herself opted for a pink version at the wedding banquet for Rajwa and Prince Hussein. Queen Rania often carries the style as well, as she did to the coronation of Britain's King Charles III.
Dior
Dior clearly has a special place in the royal family's heart. The brand has been an everyday go-to of Rania's for years, from cocktail dresses to pumps, but she took her love to the next level, choosing the brand to wear to the weddings of both her son Crown Prince Hussein, and her daughter Princess Iman. Iman also wore a custom Dior gown for her big day, creating a special mother-daughter fashion connection.
Zara
Shop Now Zara Pink Blazer, $69.90
She may be a princess now, but Rajwa al Saif still understands the beauty of a bargain buy. She's been seen favoring Zara pieces on a number of occasions, like the flowy top she wore for an Instagram post celebrating Eid al-Adha, as well as the hot pink pantsuit she wore to a special talk given by Prince Hussein in May 2023.
Brandon Maxwell
Shop Now Brandon Maxwell Cutout Pleated Cotton Dress, $798
For everyday elegance, Queen Rania frequently turns to the stylings of Brandon Maxwell. For a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte in 2022, Rania chose this chic, pale blue pleated dress and accessorized with a white bag and pumps.
Louis Vuitton
SHOP NOW Louis Vuitton Capucines BB, $6,750
A noted handbag enthusiast, Rania appears to have a particular affection for Louis Vuitton's Capucines collection. Here, she carried the style at an event in France with her daughter, Princess Iman. She's also carried other version of the look numerous times, including the polka dot Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama bag she carried to meet the president of Italy in 2022.
Jennifer Chamandi
Shop Now Jennifer Chamandi Vittorio pumps, $754
There may be no brand that has shod more of the Jordan royal family's feet than Jennifer Chamandi. The designer's footwear has become a staple of the closet of many of the royal ladies, appearing in regular rotation for everything for day to day events to major moments. See: the gold Lore 65 style that Princess Salma wore to her sister Iman's wedding in 2023.
Roksanda
Shop Now Roksanda Silk Maxi Dress, $2,150
Jordan's queen regularly chooses Roksanda for public events, like her appearance alongside other royal ladies like Queen Camilla of Britain, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark at a reception to raise awareness about violence against women and girls around the world hosted at Buckingham Palace in 2022.
Dolce & Gabbana
D&G makes regular appearances in the wardrobe of the royal women of Jordan. Notably, Princess Rajwa turned to the brand for the second dress of her wedding day, donning a gown from their Alta Moda collection.
Manolo Blahnik
Shop Now Manolo Blahnik BB Pumps, $725
One style secret that Jordan's queen shared with the Duchess of Sussex? Manolo Blahnik heels. Both Rania and Meghan Markle are devotees of the BB pumps, but Rania is a fan of multiple style from the brand, including these Sugata striped heels that she wore to visit the National Heritage Institution in Madrid with Spain's Queen Letizia in June 2023.
Elie Saab
Jordan's royal family has a long history with Lebanese designer Elie Saab. Queen Rania wore a gown by the designer for the 1999 investiture of her husband, King Abdullah, and has turned to the brand repeatedly over the years, including to the wedding reception of her son Prince Hussein. Indeed, Saab even crafted the elegant white gown that Princess Rajwa wore to her official wedding ceremony, making the brand an essential of some of the family's biggest moments.
Fendi
Shop Now Fendi Baguette Crossbody Bag, $2,405
Some bags just stay with you—even when you're royalty. Case in point: Queen Rania's Fendi crossbody bag, which has been making appearances with the royal at least as far back as this 2015 trip to the Prado Media Lab. She still frequently sports the style (she wore it on a 2023 visit to Spain as well) but she's also known to carry a number of other looks from the brand, including the Peekaboo bag she wore for a state trip to The Netherlands in 2018.
