Trader Joe's Pumpkin Palooza is fast approaching, and some fans are breaking into happy dances. Redditors began clamoring for news about the start of pumpkin season at Trader Joe's shortly after the 4th of July, and now one Instagram superfan is reporting that she's got the scoop.

Alex, the person behind the Instagram account @traderjoesnew, who is not affiliated with the store, captioned a post, "Mark your calendars because pumpkin palooza is coming to Trader Joe’s starting Sept. 5."

Mums the word (pun intended) from Trader Joe's reps, who did not return a phone call asking for confirmation, but the Sept. 5 date aligns with the usual start date around Labor Day/the first week of September. Regardless of the exact date, one thing is clear: People are ready to trade pool parties and fruit smoothies for pumpkin patches and cheesecake.

If you're new to the TJ's seasonal extravaganza, Pumpkin Palooza is when Trader Joe's begins rolling out pumpkin-flavored groceries. It might as well be the official start of fall, regardless of what the calendar says. As one Redditor put it, "The start of pumpkin season is like a TJ holiday."

Though Mini Spicy Pumpkin Samosas, Apple Pumpkin Hand Pies, Pumpkin Waffles and Pumpkin Cheesecake Croissants (which were "absolutely delicious last year," according to an Instagram commenter) are among the top Trader Joe's products mentioned, the start of the Palooza means fans can also expect to see other seasonal favorites back on the shelves soon, too.

Frankly, the Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese is getting more love on Instagram and Reddit posts than any pumpkin item.

"I need Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese inside my body," Instagrammer declared.

"The Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese is life," wrote a Redditor. "I’m so excited."
