Sad Video of Dog 'Howling Alone' After Losing His Fur Sibling Is Breaking Hearts
One of the hardest things about grieving the loss of a pet is watching your other pets go through it too. At least for humans, we know why a pet has crossed over the rainbow bridge, but a lot of times the other animals in the house don't know and they're confused.
A very sad example of this comes from TikTok user @sullyandstinkybaby. The two dogs used to howl together in the backyard, but unfortunately, one of the dogs passed from cancer. The owner captured a truly heartbreaking video of Sully the Golden Doodle who kept howling even without her best friend. Grab a tissue for this one.

Ugh, we can't stop the tears from rolling down. We feel so bad for the entire family after losing Mogli. The grieving process is never easy, but we hope they can all heal together. This is the time to give Sully extra love and attention, plus a million snuggles.

Receiving news that your dog has a terminal illness such as cancer is one of the hardest things to hear. You have to start imagining your life without your fur baby by your side. And if this ever happens to you, you've probably gone through the five steps of anticipatory grief. Shock, fear, hope, frustration and anxiety are the emotions you go through during this time. And each one is totally normal to feel. Since dogs live in the present and don't know what is to come, the best thing you can do is cherish their last days.
