Secret Services assigned to Joe Biden's granddaughter Naomi Biden opened fire in Georgetown, a neighborhood in Washington, D.C., last night, after three people attempted to break into an unmarked Secret Service Vehicle.

Per the Associated Press, the agents were assigned to Naomi's detail, and were with her in Georgetown late last night when they witnessed three people "breaking a window of the parked and unoccupied SUV."

"On Nov. 12 around 11:58 p.m. in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC, Secret Service agents encountered possibly three individuals breaking a window on a parked and unoccupied government vehicle. During this encounter, a federal agent discharged a service weapon and it is believed no one was struck," Anthony Guglielmi, a Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement, per CNN.

He added, "The offenders immediately fled the scene in a red vehicle and a regional lookout was issued to supporting units. There was no threat to any protectees and the incident is being investigated by the DC Metropolitan Police Department and the Secret Service."

It's unclear of Naomi was aware of the shooting at the time, but "was made aware of the incident afterwards," according to ABC News.
