Secret Chick-fil-A Menu Item Elicits Strong Reaction From Fans: ‘Sounds Devious’

One of Chick-fil-A’s secret menu items is triggering a strong reaction among fans as many learn about the order option for the first time.

Though the beverage sounds simple, fans battling warm summer weather seem eager to try it out at their first opportunity.

The secret menu item in question is Chick-fil-A’s frosted sodas, which Snackolator reported are available to customers at many restaurant locations across the U.S. However, not all Chick-fil-As offer sodas in frosted form even when ordered as a secret menu item, according to the food blogger.

In a June 15 Instagram post, Snackolator shared a photo provided by a Chick-fil-A in Houston, Texas, showing four beverages in frosted form: Hi-C, Root Beer, Powerade and Dr. Pepper. Any sodas could technically come in the same float style, the post noted.

A couple of fans who commented on the post vouched for the menu item only being available at participating locations.

“[I] know some places don't do it, i worked at one that allowed it and worked at one that didn't, so check around!” one Instagram user recommended.

Another person who said they worked at Chick-fil-A for three years said their location "would do Frosted Coke/Root Beer upon request” and would also make “Frosted Strawberry Lemonade which a lot of people surprisingly didn’t know about,” adding, “Tbf is wasn’t on the menu.”

Most Instagram users focused their comments on which beverage they most wanted to try in frosted form. While Dr. Pepper received tons of votes— “Frosted Dr Pepper is the correct choice. 😌,” one fan declared—many people were intrigued by other flavor options, as well.

“That frosted powerade sounds devious,” one Instagram user wrote as another agreed that it “sounds diabolical.”

“These sound amazing! I love the frosted lemonade!” one person wrote, while another said they “wanna do it with orange soda.”

“Omg I’m so jealous of people who have this,” one fan said.
