Serena Williams’s New Brand Has Nothing to Do with Tennis

As proven by her tennis career, Serena Williams isn't scared of competition. Her latest match: entering the beauty space as the latest celeb to start their own cosmetics line.

According to a report by TMZ, the tennis superstar has filed a trademark for a cosmetics line under the name "Aneres," which is Serena spelled backwards. It looks like Williams kept things simple when deciding on a brand name since she previously locked Aneres down for her clothing line with HSN.

Since Williams can effortlessly work an athleisure beauty look on the court, or high-glam hair and makeup on the red carpet, we're expecting the line will reflect both sides of her style. TMZ states that the legal docs Williams's filed for the trademark covers an extensive range of product categories including: skincare prep, makeup removing products, cologne, perfume, and bath soap. Makeup wise, there's eyeshadow, lip gloss, lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, and makeup kits.
