Seth Rogen Gives Heartbreaking Update After Suffering a Loss

Seth Rogen is full of sorrow after losing his pup, Zelda.

The comedian, 41, took to his Instagram on Sun., May 7, to share that his 13-year-old pup had passed away.

He shared a carousel of photos that captured his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel throughout her life, including photos of her walking on the beach, snapping pics with Rogen's wife, Lauren Miller, playing fetch, and of course, waiting for food to drop at the dinner table.

"We said goodbye to our perfect girl Zelda on Thursday, May 4th. She was almost 14 years old," Rogen wrote in the caption.

He continued: "She was truly the most special, magical creature. She taught us about love, resilience, strength and kindness. We loved her more than words can describe. Everyone who met her saw what a unique little puppy she was. She’d stare in to your soul with her gigantic buggy eyes. She was so judgmental, that when she loved you, you really knew you earned it, and it made you feel like you had won."

"She had an incredible life and was lucky to have so many friends and shared her special love with so many people. She was a girl who was so shy no one adopted her as a baby who became a girl who travelled to multiple countries, appeared in three movies, on two magazine covers, and inspired countless works of Zelda art— including a lighter that is now in the homes of hundreds of people," Rogen wrote.

He went on to list a few things that were "special" about his late furry friend, including, "Her big eyeballs and her intense eye contact, Her leave me alone side eye, The way she loved sprinting up and down hotel hallways," and much more.

Rogen and his wife adopted Zelda in 2011. He opened up about her on The Ellen Degeneres Show when the couple first got her, saying that they had to enroll Zelda into a "shy dog class" because she was so timid. "She's not really shy anymore, but she's super fat," he quipped at the time.
