Shark Prowls as Crocodile Attacks Sea Turtle Near Surf Influencer Camp (Video)

Australia is home to all sorts of things that can kill you; it's kinda its schtick.

There’s the box jellyfish, which has the unfortunate distinction as the “most venomous creature in the world”; there’s the blue-ringed octopus, a tiny but mighty cephalopod, which can paralyze and kill anyone it stings; and the taipan snake, the most venomous to ever slither.

But there’s also crocs and sharks – loads of ‘em. And below, a croc had a crack at a sea turtle (the circle of life, right?) as a hungry shark idled closeby for any scraps.

The clip comes from Auswide Explorers, the Stevens family who introduce themselves as:

“Hi, We are Sarah, Troy, Kai and Kobe and where a family of 4 from Brisbane who had enough of the 9-5 life and decided to take the risk and sell everything to travel Australia in our Willow Caravan.”

And according to the clip above, this happened near where they were staying in Dundee Beach in the Northern Territory of QAustalia; they captioned:

“Can't get more Australian 🐊🐢🦈

“A crocodile eating a turtle and being stalked by a shark.

“This happened over a month ago right in front of our camp at Dundee Beach.

“A good reminder not to go swimming at the beach in the Northern Territory 🤯

So, sharks versus crocs? Who would you rather take on in a fight?

Kelly Slater once weighed in, per an interview with Surfline, that he’d absolutely rather go face-to-face with a shark than a croc. He continued:

“Animals and humans need a healthy fear of each other. That seems to be getting further and further from the norm.”

What about you? Shark or croc? Which would you take?
