Sheboygan’s 8th Streatery: How to ‘dine in the street’ with these 5 restaurants this summer

SHEBOYGAN – The 8th Streatery returns to downtown Sheboygan for its fifth year with several participating restaurants and live entertainment.

The summer dining event, presented by the Harbor Centre Sheboygan Business Improvement District, shuts down part of the street near Eighth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. It runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, June 11 to Aug. 13.

The 8th Streatery was introduced during the coronavirus pandemic, with socially distanced tables to seat about 200 people.

Five restaurants are participating this year

This year, participating restaurants include Il Ritrovo, Legend Larry’s, Local Press Eatery, Stefano’s Slo Food Market and Trattoria Stefano.

How to dine in the street

  • Il Ritrovo: Place a carryout order by calling 920-803-7516.

  • Legend Larry's: Complete an order form in the restaurant and hand it to a bartender, letting them know you're dining at 8th Streatery. You will receive a pager that will let you know when the order is ready.

  • Local Press Eatery: Inform a staff member you're dining at the 8th Streatery when you place your order. You'll receive a pager to let you know when you the order is ready.

  • Stefano's Slo Food Market: Grab-and-go items can be purchased in the store. Orders can be placed ahead of time by calling 920-287-7128.

  • Trattoria Stefano: Carryout is available. You should speak with a bartender or host to check on availability, which could be limited during peak business hours.
