Christine Brown and David Woolley

As Season 18 of Sister Wives ends and viewers look forward to Christine Brown and David Woolley's two-hour wedding special in January, TLC dropped a trailer for the upcoming nuptials. In the sneak peek clip, which arrived Tuesday, Dec. 19, Janelle Brown reflected on the "wound Kody inflicted" on her former sister wife, Christine.

In one quick segment, Janelle said in a confessional, "The fact that they are openly affectionate soothes that wound that Kody inflicted," referring to the fact that Kody admitted he wasn't physically attracted to Christine.

It was a huge pain point in Kody and Christine's marriage—and something they struggled with for years. "I was married to someone who apparently wasn't physically attracted to me, and the biggest reason I haven't dated is because it's a self-esteem hit," Christine said on Sister Wives earlier in Season 18. "It's been hard to get over that. It's really hard to get beyond that in my head. And so, I've been scared."

During that same episode, Christine confessed, "The biggest reason I left Kody was because I didn't want to be in a marriage where my kids would know that I was married to someone who wasn't attracted to me."

Her ex Kody tried to address their past drama in the teaser for the new special, but he was noticeably interrupted by his remaining wife, Robyn Brown.

Thankfully, Christine doesn't have anything to worry about with David, who shared in the first look above: "It felt like I've known you my whole life."

Additionally, her new husband (then fiancé) appeared on the Dec. 17 "One on One" episode, where he shared everything he loved about Christine—including her looks.

"I was really attracted to her type and everything. I love her energy. I love the bubbliness about her, the quirkiness about her, too," David told host Sukanya Krishnan at the time. "Just everything she does, I just, I really went, 'This person, I really like.'"

He added: "And I've dated, and trust me, it's like when I met her, it was just instant. Like, I knew she was the one to be with."
