Smarty Pants Parrot Can Name Everything His Dad Asks Him To
Many different parrots can talk and mimic things that they hear regularly. They're also very intelligent and can learn a variety of different tricks. @ApolloandFrens' dad shared a video at the end of September that is pretty cool to watch, because Apollo is a very smart guy!
Apollo's dad starts by asking him to choose the correct item in his hand. In one hand he holds a glass bottle, and in the other what he calls a shrock, and Apollo picks the right one! Dad then opens a box that has crickets in it. He asks him what they're called, and Apollo says "A bug". He asks him about a few more things and it's pretty incredible that he knows them all!

My favorite is when @Apollo takes the bell and starts playing with it. My parents have had an Amazon parrot for more than 45 years, and our bird (Otis) does the same thing with his bell!
People left nearly 3 thousand comments, they had a lot to say about the smart African gray parrot. What people had the most to say about were the crickets. @Meg got more than 13 thousand likes when she asked, "Did you just unleash crickets in your house?!" @It's Me pointed out, "You got him a Shrock!" @Spicy Dejavu made me laugh with, "Not to brag, but I also got them all right". @aery shouted, "HE SAID THROW BOTTLE!!!"
Parrots are extremely smart, but it seems that Apollo really knows the difference between things. I love watching his videos and can't wait to see more!
