Sophie Turner couldn’t be happier to be engaged to Joe Jonas, but her impending wedding to one of the world’s biggest pop stars is not what she considers her greatest success. In fact, it’s her career—jump-started by her leading role on Game of Thrones—that she is most proud of.

“I’m still like: Holy shit! I’m engaged,” she told Marie Claire. “There’s this weird misconception that being married is the greatest thing that’ll ever happen to you. But I’ve always found that my career is something I work for, and when I achieve something, there’s a sense that this is the greatest thing I’ll do in my life.”

“It’s lovely to be engaged,” she added. “Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person like I’d find a house that I love and want to stay in forever. There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there’s a drive that comes with your career.”

The 22-year-old GoT star got engaged to Jonas in October 2017, but she’s in no rush to plan the wedding. First, she’s wrapping up the final season of her hit HBO drama. In February, she told People that she’s waiting until 2019 to plan her wedding and find her dress.

“You never know what’s going to be fashionable next year, so I think I am just holding off for now,” she said.
