Strawser’s Ice Cream, Pop & Candy shop expanding in central Ohio
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A local ice cream shop based out of Grove City is expanding with two new central Ohio locations.
Strawser’s Ice Cream, Pop & Candy shop is adding stores in Circleville and Ashville, according to the shop’s social media page. The Circleville location at 109 N. Court St. is expected to open July 1. The new ice cream shop will be located downtown near Circleville’s Pumpkin Show Park.
Meanwhile, the company also announced the new Ashville spot at 11365 St. Route 104 is expected to open “a few weeks later” after the Circleville opening.
Its Grove City shop, which opened in July 2022 at 4026 Broadway, offers a variety of Perry’s Ice Cream, a selection of more than 180 types of soda to choose from, candy and more, according to the company website. Some of the shops’ specialty items include ice cream floats and super sundaes.
