Summer fun awaits at Louisiana State Parks
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — School is out, and summer is in full effect. What is there for a family to do to pass the time?
How about staying home?
Louisiana residents are being encouraged to swim, canoe, bike or hike into the summer break this year, at the state park of your choosing. Each park is equipped with the recreational activity you and the family can do to make for a “hot” staycation.
All throughout the state, there are parks catering to the needs of the outdoorsmen, whether it be in the water or on land.
