Princess Victoria and Princess Sofia of Sweden showed off killer royal fashion today at the Nobel Prize ceremony in Stockholm. The regal sisters-in-law were both clad in gowns, tiaras, and regalia, but they still showcased their different takes on eveningwear, with one opting for the classic fairytale ballgown and the other going for a glam, bombshell dress.

Princess Victoria, the eldest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and heir to the throne, dug into the royal archives for her look. She recycled a color-block dress previously worn by her mother, Queen Silvia, at the 1995 Nobel Prize ceremony.

The voluminous strapless number consisted of a blush pink bustier, olive sash at the waist, and silver full skirt. The best part, however, was the back, which had massive pink and green bows and oversized floral details.

As for her headpiece, Princess Victoria wore the Connaught Tiara, which consists of five distinct loops of forget-me-not wreaths, each containing a suspended diamond pendant, according to The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor. The precious accessory dates back to 1905. The princess' diamond earrings and brooch were a perfect match for the jeweled topper.

Princess Sofia, who's married to Princess Victoria's younger brother, Prince Carl Philip, went the bold route in a show-stopping red number with puff shoulders and cape-like sleeves that fell to the floor. She kept a metallic box clutch in one hand while entering the Nobel Prize banquet.

Sofia, who just turned 34 last week, opted for a thick pearl choker reminiscent of Princess Diana's go-to jewelry. Most noticeably, she wore a delicate tiara, which is actually the same one she wore at her royal wedding to Prince Carl Philip in 2015, People reports.

The headpiece, a gift from King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, originally featured emeralds, but it appears she's replaced the green jewels with pearls, according to People.

Although Princess Victoria's second sibling, Princess Madeleine, was not in attendance, their mother, Queen Silvia, did make an elegant appearance. The Swedish matriarch stunned in an emerald green lace gown with a scalloped neckline and sheer sleeves.
