The international motocross circuit witnessed a spectacle over the weekend in Cingoli, Italy, as Team USA ATVMX proved its mettle at the Quadcross of Nations. American stars Bryce Ford, Joel Hetrick, and Chad Wienen, each with a remarkable track record, ensured a fifth title for the United States at this esteemed competition.

Mark Baldwin, the Team Manager from Baldwin Motorsports, extolled the team's efforts, "The team did an incredible job in Italy against 17 other teams and 54 other riders. It takes Bryce, Joel, and Chad working together to collectively bring home the gold, and they did that flawlessly. We are proud to bring home a fifth championship to the United States."

The Yamaha-riding champions started the event on a high note during the qualifying races on Saturday. Hetrick secured a win in the Group A race, while Ford dominated the Group B race with a commendable lead. The Group C qualifying race saw Wienen rise to the top of the podium.

The competition intensified on Sunday, with each rider contending in two 25-minute motos. The combined scores of the team would determine their overall finish position. Ford and Hetrick, in the first moto, navigated from mid-pack positions to the top, with Hetrick eventually seizing the win.

The second moto displayed impeccable synergy between eight-time AMA Pro ATV Motocross National Championship series champion, Chad Wienen, and Ford. They concluded the race with Ford clinching the top spot and Wienen finishing a close second.

The final moto commenced with Hetrick pulling a flawless holeshot. Though the race faced an initial red flag due to a gate malfunction, it didn't deter the racers. Hetrick controlled the race, with Wienen securing the runner-up spot, culminating in Team USA ATVMX's acquisition of its fifth international title.

Reflecting on the championship, Hetrick stated, “I’m proud to be a part of this amazing experience. The fans were awesome... I pulled off two moto wins, but most importantly the team brought home gold!”
