Teen Graduates with Perfect Attendance from Kindergarten to Senior Year: 'Truly a Phenomenal Feat'

One Florida teen is celebrating having perfect attendance from kindergarten through her senior year of high school.

Rikki Blaylock was honored at a school board meeting earlier this month for never missing a day of class throughout her 13 years of attending school in Orange Park.

"Congratulations to Class of 2024 Rikki Blaylock for her recognition at last night’s School Board meeting. Rikki was Awarded Perfect Attendance for kindergarten to her senior year; truly a phenomenal feat!" Ridgeview High School — where Blaylock just graduated fromwrote in a Facebook post.

"Her dedication and commitment to her learning is inspirational!" the educational institution continued, adding, "#PanthersRISE."

During the Clay County School Board meeting, Superintendent David Broskie presented Blaylock with a certificate for “Outstanding Attendance.”

“Congratulations to our student athlete, Rikki Blaylock, for being awarded perfect attendance from K-12 at last night’s school board meeting! Your dedication and commitment are truly inspiring," Ridgeview Panthers Athletics wrote in its own social media post.

At Ridgeview High School, Blaylock ran track and also played soccer and volleyball, according to the Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) website.

She also was named Athlete of the Week in April for her javelin throw, and she holds the school record for the sport, her high school's athletic department shared in a post on its Facebook page.

Blaylock also supported the school's athletic programs by taking photos at different sporting events, the organization added.
