After testing 30 different robot vacuum models, the iRobot Roomba i3 EVO Robot Vacuum became a favorite because of its performance, quietness, and overall value. It maps out the rooms in your house and can clean the entire home at once or whatever room you choose. After a day of cooking or baking, you can select the kitchen on the app or use Google or Alexa, and this robot vacuum heads over to your kitchen to take care of any messes and spills that have occurred.
It comes with two brushes, which are made of flexible rubber, allowing them to handle any floor type and effortlessly gather up debris. Unlike some robot vacuums, it doesn’t zig-zag around your floors but goes back and forth in straight lines ensuring they’re thoroughly cleaned.
And you don’t have to do much maintenance at all: When it needs to recharge (it lasts 75 minutes), it heads back to port and gets refreshed, plus, once it’s done cleaning what you asked it to, it returns back to base until it’s needed again.
During our tests, we were impressed by how quiet this robot vacuum was, no matter if it was zooming around on a bare floor or carpet. And, we admired that once it’s done recharging itself during a cleaning session, it’ll return back to the spot where it left off.
We found the setup process was easy, though it can take a bit to go through it, which was not a dealbreaker for our testers. Overall, we love its performance, its high power, and how it operates with very little noise.
