TikToker Turns Old Terrarium Into 'Cat Display Case'
They found a unique purpose for the terrarium after it didn't work out for the plants.
People on TikTok continue to impress with their innovative ideas, and one person just shared the transformative–and adorable–way they are using an old fish tank.
TikTok user @mildwestsami posted a video showing their new use for a fish tank that she initially attempted to make a terrarium.
When that didn't work out, she made the container into a "cat display case," and now her pets take turns hanging out in the tank and showing off their cuteness.

The TikTok user explained the situation in a voice-over while the video showed the cats in the tank.
"So, a while back my in-laws gave me this old fish tank they were gonna get rid of, and originally I had made it into a terrarium. But I killed all the plants in it, so I just made it into a cat display case. And I have to say, it is the best decision I have ever made," she explained.
The TikToker continued: "Whenever I walk past, and I just see one of them sleeping in there, it is the biggest hit or serotonin. 1000/10, would recommend."
In the fish tank, @mildwestsami put a fluffy blanket and a cat toy, but other than that, the cats take up most of the space. Because it's glass on all sides, you can see the cat relaxing and sleeping.
"Honestly thinking about making a plaque for it like it’s a museum piece 😭," she captioned the adorable post.
The video went viral, with over 354,000 likes, as of writing. And based on the comments, it seems those who stumbled on the "cat display case" idea fully endorse it.
The official TikTok for the NEKO Cat Cafe in Seattle, Washington, commented: "We have a cat display case by the bar called the ✨Cat Flirtation Zone✨ & can confirm everyone should have a cat display case 😤."
"So need a 'NO TAPPING ON GLASS PLEASE' sign," another fan suggested.
It's a pretty purrfect use of the old terrarium, if you ask us.
