Tillamook, the creamery behind the #1 Cheddar cheese, plus a range of dairy products from cream cheese to ice cream, has just launched its newest product. But there’s one surprising detail: it’s not food.

Tillamook Releases the iScreen, a New Solution For Hiding Your Ice Cream

Tillamook has unveiled its newest product, which the brand says protects your chocolate ice cream from unwanted visitors looking to sneak a taste. The Tillamook iScreen is a high-tech privacy screen designed to hide your frozen treats just in time to celebrate National Chocolate Ice Cream Day on June 7, which is when the product becomes available on the Tillamook website.

To hide your ice cream, the brand says you simply place it behind the iScreen, and the ice cream becomes invisible. But how does it work? According to the press release, it’s all thanks to cutting-edge technology. “The magic happens with materials made from lenticular lenses, which use tiny ridges to bend light, tricking the eye to make what's behind the shield simply disappear,” Tillamook claims.

The iScreen announcement comes alongside the (arguably more newsworthy) release of four ice cream flavors: German Chocolate Cake, Brownie Batter, Dark Chocolate Cookies and Cream, and Chocolate Hazelnut. The new collection has 45 percent more cocoa than their classic chocolate ice cream, giving it a more rich and decadent flavor.

The new flavors will be available at retailers nationwide. And feel free to stock up for National Chocolate Ice Cream Day knowing that the iScreen will keep your secret safe.
